We chose the name Antethesis on purpose. Ante means before. We care about the work before a thesis. The groundwork, the questions, the field notes, the observations that do not fit tidy conclusions yet.
It also carries the shadow of antithesis. We have always been contrarian thinkers, asking why and standing against the obvious. Both readings matter here.
We are here because we have many thoughts about business, entrepreneurship, and markets, and about how people think and act. For fifteen years we argued these ideas within a small circle. Now we are publishing them. Not because we believe we have all the answers, but because writing them out helps us sharpen our thinking and may resonate with yours. We like hearing from people who think this way.
There is a lot of noise out there. Many accounts pose as experts, sell certainty, and throw out daily picks to chase attention. If the tips worked, they would not need the show. There is a respectful way to share ideas. We prefer to do the work and make our reasoning visible.
Our own background is not neat or polished. We have worked across finance, business, and entrepreneurship. We started companies in restaurants, cafes, and mobile apps. Many failed, some spectacularly. We learned. We now work in consulting, and we will bring the same honesty here. If we are unsure, we will say so.
For now we will remain anonymous. This way the ideas go first and prior relationships do not color your reading.
What you can expect here are essays, research notes, and observations on people, decisions, and markets. At times we will dive into specific companies as case studies and occasionally as possible investments. We begin with qualitative thinking, then turn to the numbers as a second step to test the case without letting them shape it from the start. No hot tips. No price targets.
If this sounds useful, subscribe and reply. Push back. Share your notes. We will try to keep things clear and honest.
