Who we are and how we work

We study how people, businesses, and markets make decisions. We work across consulting and investing, and we have spent years arguing these ideas in a small circle. Some projects worked. Some failed. We learned and we publish the process, not a persona.

We are anonymous for now so the ideas go first. Prior relationships and our names stay out of the way. If there is uncertainty, we say so.

How we work

  • Behavior and incentives first.

  • Numbers second, to test the case without letting the spreadsheet lead the story.

  • Simple English.

  • Independent and unsponsored.

What we offer and why subscribe

You will get essays, research notes, and field observations on people, decisions, and markets. We also do deep dives on specific companies as case studies, sometimes as possible investments. Expect clear reasoning and sources you can check.

Why subscribe

  • To see full write-ups as soon as they are published

  • To follow a consistent method, not hot takes

  • To learn how qualitative thinking and numbers meet without theatrics

Reply, push back, and share your notes. Point us to companies or situations that are being misunderstood. If you want to collaborate on a case study, tell us why it matters and what you already know.

What you will not see here

No tips. No price targets. No daily trades to chase attention. No sponsored posts dressed up as insight.

Why the name

We chose the name Antethesis on purpose. Ante means before. We care about the work before a thesis, the groundwork, the questions, the observations that do not yet fit tidy conclusions. It also carries the shadow of antithesis. We ask why and we stand against the obvious when it deserves it. Both readings matter here.
